PMG markets the content and rights of more than 900 newspaper and magazine publishers with approx. 4700 print and online sources. More than 3000 of these are available in the PMG press database in digital format. From its Berlin headquarters, PMG supplies more than 5000 customers from companies, associations and public bodies as well as media monitoring services and PR agencies.

Our history

PMG begins operations.

Conclusion of cooperation agreement with VG Wort.

Supplementary agreements made with VG Bild-Kunst.

Archiving rights for the content of individual publications are offered for the first time.

More than 1600 publications are now available via PMG.

Founding of the Press Database and Licensing Network (PDLN). As a founding member, PMG actively contributes to the development of the network.

More than 2500 sources now available from PMG.

Relaunch of the PMG press database.

Introduction of a new search system. New Elasticsearch technology delivers faster results and better structured hit lists.

Launch of the new digital media analysis PMG MediaMeter.

Press review portal, media analysis PMG MediaMeter and PMG website available with an english speaking surface.

Press review manager is launched. Creating and providing digital press reviews directly from the press database.

PMG acquires software developer X-CAGO in order to concentrate know how in converting and supplying high-quality publisher content.

Relaunch of the PMG press database: PMG MediaHub is starting. Faster research, context-sensitive help-function and more IT security are only three features of the new generation of media monitoring.
