Editing press reviews with PMG Press Review Manager

This short tutorial shows how you can quickly and easily create and edit press reviews using the new tool after purchasing articles from the press database.

Buying articles to add to Press Review Manager

Put the articles that you want to buy in the PMG press review portal in the shopping cart. View the shopping cart and click Buy now. If necessary, you can now download the articles you have purchased, for example if you wish to use the archiving rights option. Next, click Edit press review or the Press Review Manager tab. Purchased articles are automatically added to your current press review draft.

How to edit your press review

The online view of your press review is shown on the right-hand side in Press Review Manager. This view includes the articles you have purchased. Click Edit title and annotation to change the title and add a comment. For example, you can note which topics currently feature particularly heavily.

Check the online view and the PDF preview to make sure you are happy with the final result. The preview shows the document in full.

Our tip: When using your browser for the first time, allow pop-ups for Press Review Manager to display the PDF preview correctly. You only need to do this once.

Sorting the articles differently or removing articles

An overview of your articles appears on the left-hand side in Press Review Manager. You can view, move or remove individual articles from the press review with just one click.

Articles that have been removed will remain available under Purchased articles from the past 28 days for a short time. If you wish, you can send these articles to your readers again in a later press review.

Our tip: To quickly select multiple articles, hold down the Shift key or the Control or Command key. Then click on your chosen articles at the same time using the mouse. Use the Shift key to highlight all articles up to the selected article or use the Control or Command key to add individual articles to the selection.

You can also automatically sort the articles in your press review, for example by date or source.
